I will open a topic which is not new at all, but I think it is a problem that needs to be resolved more efficiently.

Players, mostly NT players, are sometimes victims of intentional firing and thus weakening NT squads. It should be not possible for a player to be automatically retired after a firing (at least not for players with great skills and high salary). It should be restriced somehow.

What do you think?

Poll:  Fired player must be "protected" from retiring?

Yes
No

Yes. But players with salaries over 150+ are rarely worth (in the BB market) 1mio. Their Form is also affected without a club and in time they lose their place in the NT and are eventually retired. This is not good and is not handled properly.

If they're not worth that amount on the TL, it's just further evidence that there are more of these type of players in the game than would be needed if not for the NTs. If the NT needs these types of players, let them come up with a way of finding and keeping the players gainfully employed, but it would be far better for the game if the supply of these players is reduced dramatically and people actually created players for club play instead.
