Greetings, friends. I would like to join in this discussion that is taking place. Things will get a little hectic, eh. Sorry aboot all of the buildup, I should begin my speech now.
The only thing that I would like to share aboot myself is that I am true candidate. As a child, I lived in an unstable part of the city, where I was involved in criminal groups, and this all shifted me into being a stronger person with better leadership qualities. I do not have fears of anything as a result, except for Tim Horton's running out of food. That would be disastrous, eh?
Some of you voters might be looking for stronger reasons to vote for me. Sorry that I haven't provided you with these yet. I will get right to it.
1. I have goals that include attaining a further position in the World's Tournament than in previous seasons.
2. My moral beliefs have concluded that it is the correct time for myself to be the manager of the Canadian U21 national team.
3. I am close friends with Canadian basketball player Anthony Bennett.
4. Justin Bieber is an outstandingly talented singer with out of this world abilities.
5. Kumiko has failed to set lineups in past scrimmages for the U21 team. Sorry to provide a negative statement towards you Kumiko. You are a dear friend that I highly respect and admire and it is unnecessary and an outrage for me to provide such poor words in your name.
6. After the sad exit of jfarb from the site of buzzerbeater, Canada is lacking an American manager that participates in the Canadian forums. I have the ability to be this person.
7. The greatest sport that has ever been invented is the classic activity of playing ice hockey.
8. I wish you all a merry Christmas and hope that you enjoy your holiday. It makes me very happy that I can see snow out of my window today, providing a white Christmas. I really like snow a lot. Snow is cool.
9. The other day, I drove on my dogsled to see Nickelback perform live in concert, and I was blown away by their musical abilities. What a talented bunch of musicians.
10. I work at a Tim Horton's in Toronto, and I really enjoy working there. It provides a very enjoyable experience for me. My favorite thing to eat there is bagels that are covered in maple syrup. Delicious.
11. I have basketball experience, as I played basketball recently and scored on several slam dunks. Quite impressive isn’t it, eh?
12. I am reliable manager with 13 seasons of experience, and I have been involved in helping U21 teams and national teams in the past. My interest for buzzerbeater is at its peak and there would never be a better time for me to take over.
13. I have a pet moose whose name is Gerald, and he has stated that I am clearly the strongest candidate in this election. Gerald has a very pessimistic mind like many moose, so for him to say something positive aboot me shows how much he likes me as a person and as a candidate for the U21 election.
14. Canada has yet to win a U21 World’s championship, and Kumiko has had her chance (Sorry to call you out again, I really need to address my anger issues at some point in the future.) I will bring fresh energy to the team and give the team limitless potential. I guarantee a World’s championship will happen in the future if I am elected.
15. If I am elected as the manager of the Canadian U21 team, then I will respond by travelling to Lake Winnipeg and jumping into it. It will be very cool, and beer will be provided for those that come to watch.
To conclude, I put a lot of effort into this speech, and this is just the start of the workload that I am prepared to take on in order to take this team to new heights. The future for this team is bright, but only if I’m there to run it. If I’m not there, then this team will be stuck in the same endless tunnel that it’s been in for years. Now while you go and ponder your decisions, I’m off to go sledding with some friends! What fun! Goodbye all!
