I wonder if it'll be Beanz Odyssey or St. Louis Beasts that promotes.

Beanz and it won't even be close. St Louis is 77-1 in the regular season since season 22 and has been beat in the finals by a lower seed that stacked up just before the playoffs each time. Beanz has enough money that he could buy pretty much any team he wants.

Depends if Beanz wants to go out of his way to win. Could just take the organic approach and promote when his trainees are further along and ready to slaughter Naismith. He's in good shape either way.

Glad to see some div II banter for a change.

Beasts are currently the class of II.1 however it is fairly obvious that he is not currently focused on training. This gives him a huge edge over me IF I were to make the finals. My team is in fine shape and with my current search for a quality Canadian SF turning up nothing I may just stay the course. Time will tell...

Good, good. Everyone overlook my squad who is 9-3 after tanking against beanz, losing on the road on less effort and losing on the road to the Beasts, by 5, on equal enthusiasm and effort and with a lineup focused on training rather than winning. Perfect :)

No one is overlooking you and if they are they are foolish. You have assembled a very nice group of talent and are sure to be tough come playoffs.

I like the fact that the BB economy has pitted teams that have trainees against teams that don't "really" train. It adds some new challenges for both sides.

Reality is that a couple of very good teams will remain in II.1. Looking forward to seeing how things shake out.

Looks like the Pugs are the last undefeated team! Looking at their last 2 games, it will most likely say that way.
