Big, huge, news... first question I'm thinking about:

Potential will have influence on all the players of BB or the effect starts from the youngsters coming out from the draft?

My understanding is that the existing players will always have the potential to be within the top 20% of the game.

So if the potential of a large % of the new draftees is limited to 'bench warmer' how are these going to sell for anything near the prices of the 18yo from this season that turns 19 in a few weeks that you know will always have the potential to be a 'all star'.

I need to digest the impact I think this will have on the economy - my initial thoughts are that all the 'bench warmers' will find their way onto the market and only the others will be kept for training purposes.. also with the impending slow down in training it will soon surely make sense to buy 19-21 yo that have had partially accelerated training as opposed to buying 18yo and trying to shape them to the exact requirements of your team (1) because of the slower growth and 2) because there is a high % chance he will only be good enough to be a bench warmer.

If I am right it would be unfair not to document these changes in the rules as any new user going to buy an 18yo next season could be much more disappointed if they didnt know of a potential training cap. when they couldve bought a 19yo that almost certainly has more potential (training upside)

One question. They didn't mention height weight anywhere, will we know that or not?

if i scout my draftee and find he is only bench warmer potential surely if i list him he wont come with that information??

i would hope not.

you would have to do your homework on him before deciding whether to buy.. i have paid for that information so why should everyone else get it for free?

i wouldve thought that its a case of buyer assumes the risk...
