So I'm thinking about building my team around 2 draftees I'd try to get next season or the one after that. I know that the draft is random and that I may never get a good player from it but I'm ready to throw 2 seasons away to try to get 2 go(o)d draftees.
Would I have a bigger chance to get them if I get relegated to league V? I checked most league V's and they are 100% full of bots so that would give me a better chance of getting the players I want.
Another question, what would be the best way to draft? Scouting combine + Group demo. if I have enough points?
You can't relegate to V at the present time - the quickest and easiest way to check this is to look at last season's league page, and confirm that the teams that finished eighth in each conference are still in your league, though not necessarily with the same user controlling them (or, really, without any user control in one case).
Generally I'd start with scouting combine, and then depending on what you're looking for, if there are 10 or more guys in the 1-2 grey ball range who you'd want info on, then the group demo is fine. If your goal for example is specific like 18 year old 6'2" or shorter guards, it likely will never be too worthwhile to do the group demo.
