Alright well the thread Greerzilla started was a success for a little bit, so I figured I would start a new one.
The memebers of this league are some of the best managers in all of BB as Naismith is a strong league. Getting any advantage on each other is important and one huge advantage is the merchandise you get from high end Canadian talent.
Currently 9 of 12 players on Canadas NT are owned by Naismith. With callup options spread in here as well. That is good, but it could get better of course. A perfect 12 of 12 would be the goal, but obviously would require selling of Hall, Worley and Jutras.
The merchandise for a NT player is pretty substantial. Its 10-15% last I heard. So a 200k player is really a 170k player. That 30k is a lot of money over the course of a season. Trying to get Naismith filled with young Canadian talent and current Canadian talent is the main goal. I know it isnt the easiest considering most young talent dies in the div IIIs and IVs, but I have arranged to have one manager from each of the div III leagues to BBmail me when a new team is created in their league. That way Ill be able to help them through the beginning stages of BB(ill probably look for help on that front soon) and that way Canadian talent can survive. Eventually the talent gets expensive and you 16 are the hopeful landing spots of that talent.
Getting Naismith more involved with the NT can greatly benefit the NT as I have full trust with the managers in this league. Also with the GS hit from selling kicking in next season, knowing that our roster is safe and sound in Naismith would give us a huge advantage over other countries over the world as Canadas NT strives to become a top 5 team and a World Champion.
I know there is now a Player Ad thread in BB Canada, but I would rather our 100k+ talent land in Naismith versus an unknowing div III team(case and point:
(10637186)). So with that said, MVP+ talent will be posted here(superstar+ for SFs) and that way you guys can get some early bids in and headsup.
Lets strive for that 12/12 mark! Lets put Canada on the map!
