Can I purchase a player, play him Tuesday, then fire him?

Why would he need 1k scrubs? Even with those injured player he can still field more than 10 players.

Because.....
Game shape is very important!
No use over-using regulars.
$1K scrubs can eat some floor time while regs get needed minutes
and trainees get theirs.

You can buy a player Monday, play him against me on Tuesday and then fire his ass after the game. That way you'll never pay his salary.
