World Alliance (33584)
First appeared onto the scene right before the all star break of season 11, the World Alliance quickly rose through the bot leagues, into div.III and eventually div.II by the end of its 2nd full season. More known for its deep-ish cup runs, the team has put up decent numbers in the past 5 seasons in II.2 before assembling together a purposeful team that ultimately promoted to the Naismith. Although the team has had success with training prospects; 2 U21 talents (drafted in season 13) and 1 respectable SF in the 7 full seasons in the league, the team has suffered financially as a result of ridiculous trainer prices to maintain the skills of its prospects at a competitive level.
With the training plans in hindsight, will the World Alliance have enough time to recoup from it's financial mishaps and lure sufficient talent to stay at the Naismith level? Or would the World Alliance be a 1 time wonder having promoted from the weak II.2?

This is the year for teams to try and win a championship. With RiP not seriously competing and Mogul down in div II of you can get by Genso Suikoden II(not an easy task) you could very well win this season. Looking forward to following along this season. :)

eh, not really. the way it's setup is that the next best teams just take over the previously best ones for the most part. GS2 and beaners are going to be hard to beat

Can't say I agree Bballin, the next 2 teams in line are both top 175 in the world and climbing. I would argue that it will be a pretty major upset if the league isn't won by either Beanz or GS II.

Maybe I was wrong :P

Pokey Stars picks up Arsenault! With Issa, Arsenault and Massicotte he has some good Canadian talent! :D
