My team has saved up a bit of money, and I´m looking to spend it on one or two players. My question is... what type of player should I get (veteran vs youth, guard vs c/pf, should I get 1 really good player, or 2 decent players?

Right now I have a young C I am training, and so I kind of think I should get a 25-28year old Guard to give me more outside presence, or another young PF, so I can train both

What advice would you give me?

If I were you I would buy a PG who can pass and defend and also a SG who can shoot. I would buy two players to have more depth and this way no one defense can shut you down.

PG skills:
JS: 10 JR: 9
OD: 13 HA: 11
DR: 11 PA: 12
SG skills:
JS: 13 JR: 11
OD: 13 HA: 10
DR: 12 PA: 8

How much money do you currently have? Players with these skill sets would probably cost 400k to 500k, depending on age and salaries. They should help you contend in D4 and maybe win the championship depending on what league you promote into. BTW, you should stop playing 2-3 zone because it is not very effective especially against outside oriented offenses. In higher divisions tactics can be the difference between winning and losing a game.

i would go for a player with a decent experience(i.e a veteran).firstly they cost less and secondly his experience can become the key factor for ur team especially in the tense situations.
since you are training big men i would recommend buying guards.
you can buy a PG and an SG having salaries around 25-30k and they should cost you somewhere around 400-600k(but make sure they have a decent defense, atleast sensational,i did this mistake and it does cost a bit too much)

BTW how much money do you have????

Thank you all for your suggestions. I just bought another C that I can train. I currently have just under 300,000. I haven´t put much towards the draft, because in the past, I haven´t had much success with draftees.

I will take your suggestions into consideration, and will try to buy a veteran guard who can help me. My question now is, should I get rid of any players? if so who? I´m thinking my older guards, if I buy better ones. Does this sound fair?
