I just wanted to start this thread since malapit na ang allstar weekend and the scouting combine and group demo commands would be available after that in the draft and scouting page. Also so that the best 18 yr olds would go to good teams who can train them, and not to bots. I think that this should help the U21 a lot in the future, considering our current state. Hope you guys find it useful. :>

First Step: Use Scouting Combine.

This lets you see all the 18 yr. olds, since they have the most potential to become U21 players. Another advantage of this is it lets you see the heights of the draftees, letting you see if they are highly-trainable big men or guards. (Taller Players= More potential for pops for Big Men skills, Smaller Players = more potential for pops for guard skills)

Second: Observe the unscouted draftees who are 1 or 2 ball prospects.

If more than 10 of them look like good prospects, then use the Group Demo. This would let you scout around 12 good draft prospects for 10 points. But it's technically your choice if you would want to use the group demo. If most of these 18 yr olds' heights are low, but you want a big man, then don't use the Group Demo.

If there are 10 or less 18 yr old prospects, then there is no reason to use the Group Demo.

Then after that, it's all common sense. Scout all the 18 yr old prospects that have your preferred height, and interview those that you think are good. Use up the rest of your points with the other 18 yr olds, and rank them. Take potential into consideration too while ranking if you want a future U21 player. 3 ball potential is only around allstar potential, which would only reach a bigman to around 40k salary. So its best if you rank the 4 or 5 ball potential prospects up top.

*Best if you scout 3 points per week or more.

You could always save up your points for next season, especially if you're in an active league and you're among the top four. There's also no guarantee of getting good draft picks, but probably if your in league 3 or 4 and your outside the top 4 you should get at least 1 great 18 year old, which could be the next superstar U21 player.

I used this strategy to get my player Ronaldo Madrid (18306738), who is one of the highest salary filipino 19 yr olds, but there should be way more better than him if more great 18 yr old draft picks get drafted by active managers willing to train them.

Hope more people post their strategies here or suggest more ways we can improve our U21. :)

tips q lng ms mdli mkakuha ng mlkas na 18 yrs old high pot. sa league 4 at 3 dahil mrming bots.. gmit q lng 1 scout p/week ska pnkaimportant ang age at potential.

Para sa karagdagang kaalaman lang, subukan niyo rin tignan yun league averages sa scouting para may basehan ka kung gagamitin mo ang scouting points mo. Halimbawa, kung first ka sa league tapos $30,000-40,000 ang league average sa scouting, siyempre isave mo na lang sa next season yun scouting points mo. :P

Kung dedicated talaga kayo sa Team Pilipinas. Huwag nyong ibenta ang mga high potential players nyo, i train nyo lang sila. Kahit na easy money ang pagbenta. Iba parin ang ikaw ang nag trained at magiging star player sya ng team. also dagdag din sa merchandise ang mga player mula sa draft. :))

Player B - Star Rating = 5 Balls / Potential = 4 Balls / Grade Rating = A+ / 6'0" Small Forward / 18yrs
