How many weeks does it take for jump shot to improve? I'm training jump shot for wingmen.

It will usually take 2 weeks to pop, but sometimes it will take as long as 3 weeks to pop.

Well, i got my results today, and one player i was trainning this week was 20, he didn't get a pop and he had perinnial allstar potential. I got a pop from two 19 year olds i was training, they both had all star potential, and they got pops in jump shot. The 20 year old was a shooting gaurd and my other two players were small forwards. One of these small forwards is 6'4 whom i use as a shooting gaurd. Oh yeah, i have level 4 trainer.

potential doesn't matter for the training speed unless your player has capped.

if a player hasn't capped but is still in his teens or early twenties, two or three weeks should be enough to pop in JS if assisted by a level 4 trainer.

Did they all get 48+ minutes in the positions trained (in this case, SG/SF)?

The two that got popped got 48+, i forgot how many minutes the other one got that didn't get popped, but i was mainly training my two wing men and was satisfied with their results. And it was only two wingmen that i was actually training.

Yeah, i've trained them already, and will train them again. But right now, i'm focusing on my wingmen for a while. But i do have a few big men, two power forwards and 3 centers. I've had one of my centers improve in either inside shot or inside defense, i forgot. But right now i'm focusing on my wingmen. I'm working on their jump shot which two of them improved in last week, and their outside defense. I want my wingmen to be my main offensive players, although with training i'll have other positions that score as well.

Ok. you will want to get a 18 yo trainee with at least allstar potential, and trian them for at least 4 seasons. This is more worth your while.
