I have a question for my next cupgame.

My opponent is normally playing RnG, what defensive tactig should i use against such a guy?
He has a great Pg who is normally making the points and a very good Center who is a rebound monster.
Well hopefully this 2 players will play tomorrow in his league game. Then i might play against his reserve team :)

My guards are good defenders, and my Sf can defend both outside and inside.

I dont think you have much of a chance against him.

However, to maximise your chances, play 3-2 or even 1-3-1 zone, and focus your attack on your strengths to overpower his defense either outside or inside.

As Mathcorejay said. There are a lot of IFs, but maybe you can win, if:

- he plays take it easy
- you play crunch time
- play 3-2 or even better, 1-3-1
- stick your best inside defender on his center, because with your 1-3-1 defense, he will take a lot of offensive rebounds and inside shots right after that.

But only you know if you want to play crunch time. If Saturday's game isn't that important to you, I say go for it, because you don't have a game on Tuesday and enthusiasm will have more time to climb back to 5 for thursday's cup game (if you will still be in, of course).

Thanks for the tips, i got a close game :P
Even after this loss, im pleased with my cup results. I got a lot of money, could sometimes tank enthusiasm, and got a nice last game.

The game: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/29040060/boxscore.aspx
Unfortunaly his 2 strongest players were starters...
A lot of the Ifs mentioned by Koperboy happened: I played 1-3-1, crunch, he took it easy. But it still wasnt enough.
Well i might have played the wrong offence, maybe I would have been better with motion or LI. But you never know what is best for the next game, you can only learn from the "mistakes" you made.

Enthusiasm wont be a problem. I had it on 11 before the match started, now it is 5. ill win the next games without any problems even if i play tie( and i will play tie).
