How did everyone's draft go?

I really love my draft. 2 really good players with great potential for me. Both are 18 too! I could definitely keep all 3 of my players so I have to consider my draft a really big success.

How about all of yours?

mine was interesting. My first pick is a 6 ft 11 shooting guard. Have to sell him. He will make a great center for someone, but not for me. My other two picks are okay. i got a PG who will be good, and I got an awesome SF who is already $6832. I will train him as a guard, and he will be crazy good.

I had that SF ranked in my list too. It was pretty intriguing because he had an A+ grade but only 3 potential. That is a very high salary for a rookie though. Wish he were 18!

Yeah my dad saw you in the forums asking how you should rank our top guys. The guys in the forum were telling you to put the 5 star guys over over the 3 potential guy. We were hoping they would talk you into it that...19 sucks, and 3 star potential is okay, but I wanted that A+ ....now i am stuck though because i have to train him as a guard and I guess tall goes dont train good as guards. ohhh well, his ratings are good. If his ratings go up at all, I can move him to small forward in a few seasons and he can stay there for a while.

I didnt get a lot of second looks in my scouting...so I wanted to get the one guy I knew for sure would be a good player now. The player I drafted first, that i was excited about, PLayer 25, is good, and he would be great for someone who trains big men, but at 6 ft 11, I cant keep him :-(

Sounds like you guys had some good drafts. Looks like we will all 3 be good competition this year too. Interested to see how Thunderclan's team is going to be now that you pretty much COMPLETELY turned your team around. We play 7/10 which should be a good game with the highest scoring team in the Big 8 (Me, scoring 107 first game) and the best defensive team in the Big 8 (Thunderclan, allowing only 60 points in the first game). Good luck Thunderclan, hopefully I can pull it out, but it won't be easy.

As for my draft I am pretty pleased with what I came away with. I was looking to come away with a Small Forward for my team, but they all went before my pick. At pick 12 though I did get a Nice 7'11" Power Forward with Perennial Allstar Potential, but is 19 years old. He still has good skills, but considering my best player is my Power Forward and I have a nice young Center I may not need him much but he could be a GREAT 6th/Bench Player. My favorite player was my 28th pick. I got a nice Point Guard with Perennial Allstar Potential that's 19 years old and is 6'1". He has good Guard Skills but I already have a nice 20 year old Point Guard. I'm stuck weather I should sell one of them and either Groom my rookie or continue with my other player who is really good. Transfer Price estimate says my Rookie Point Guard could go for around $200,000 to $600,000 so I might be able to get something nice with that money, If I do that. I got another decent Power Forward in the 3rd round.

I'm going to stop there before I give too much away about my team. Should be a good season with you guys. Good luck and glad to have you guys in the big 8 with me.

We play each other the day after my birthday...hopefully I get a win as a birthday present! haha Tonight was a good game for me, because my 5 starters were backups and my 5 backups were starters and we still did good!
