Obviously player 1 is a better PF and obviously he is a better all around player but I am wondering if his low OD makes it worth playing him. Also if I were to play player 1 at SF what offense would suit such an inside/outside balanced SF best?

I say play the first player he's much better, unless the team you are playing has a good outside scoring sf. Respectable probably isn't good enough to help you that much anyways though. With both of these players you want to play an outside oriented offense - Run and Gun or Motion. You probably don't want to base your offense on just the skills of a player at 1 position though, if you have better scoring guards than your center and pf do at inside scoring you would want to base your offense on outside scoring and vice versa. You should also scout out the weak points of your opponents defense to see what offense will suit you best in a certain game.
