How does the Country Ranking Work.
It works similarly to the rankings for the National Teams. It is a two year rotation and you get points for every game played, including scrimmages. Depending on the game, the point value might be slightly different. So it is probably something like: cup, league games and B3 games are 100 points, scrimmages 10 points, playoff games 125 points (this is just a wild estimation, do not take it as the truth).
You get points whether you win or lose the game. An upset win by a lower ranked team gets them more points whereas a close win by a high ranked team vs a very low ranked team probably nets both teams about 50% of the points.
So, as you can see, going far in the cup means a lot to your ranking. I think you have had some good cup runs in the past two seasons?
