Elan Demars - Suuret Muinaiset 95-78
(136508653)

Good win vs a good team, 3 wins / 0 loss since the begionning of HGL.
That one was a +17 win, showing that our team is a very versatile team (but has NO great power (outside or inside). In this game, I chose the right defense, despite my opponent chose the Aleluja Tactic (of mine !), but it didn't work as he shot 9/39 at 3 pts. The team worked rebound for several weeks and I start to see some enhancements, but we should keep on this training at least half the season.

Very convincing win indeed demars, as Suuret Muinaiset definitely does have a high quality team also on this Season.
On Season 2 your game against SUM was tied after 3rd quarter but you were able to find a way to 10 point victory, but now that difference almost doubled (and difference was 18 points to your advantage before 4th quarter on this seasons' match yesterday).
Well, at least 3 of us HGL teams seem to be working on (training) rebounds currently/recently, as that's also been the main focus for me recently. Rebounding pop ups are kind of slow to occur, and once they do, they have potential to raise salaries quite a bit, but it's still so necessary skill that you'll regret it if you'll never train it!

Thanks Spela! 18 attempts from his opponents during last Season (including Playoffs) and already 2 attempts on this Season 3 - if his train remains on a track, he might be on a way to new HGL winning streak record(s; Regular Season record, and Regular Season and Playoffs combined-record), which Svätý Jur Snakers (Hadár) currently holds.

In my opinion, this is only a fraction of the work you do for HGL :)

Thank you for your friendly message Hadár - while it's not as much work as maintaining HGL, it is still highly appreciated, and I'm absolutely confident I'm not the only one who appreciates your work with stats. :)
(Without naming any persons, I actually happen to know there are some/many among us HGL managers who really like and appreciate stats).

Be it a little or big task that one decides to take on, all these kind of things make HGL little bit better, little bit more interesting, and share the workload a bit...
Your contribution is one good example, MrJ's help earlier on another one, and as a third example I could mention LennuK. who has also been helping with certain HGL stats/comparisons for couple of seasons, and has also promised to help in other HGL related tasks in the future.

As I said, for me community is for me one of the best things in HGL.
If I had the financial means, then I could even help (to some extent for) people to get together in actual HGL meets (as I proposed), but unfortunately that's where I have to draw a line, as financial restrictions step into the picture.
So we shall see if actual meetings can be arranged (cost, time, finding common time suitable for many simultaneously, etc) at some point(s)...

Please note that as Daylight Saving Time (DST; a.k.a. Summer Time) is not observed anymore in Europe (until next Spring), this likely affects HGL match times that you see in your BB schedule.

For me for instance, first two matches were played at 15.30 (3.30PM), but now for the rest of season matches start at 14.30.

If you have a habit of setting your rosters and tactics at the game day, please don't forget to do it earlier than usual.

(It is advisable though to set up your rosters and tactics well ahead of time anyway, but if you don't have a habit of visiting BB often, please don't set too little amount of players for HGL match lineups, so that you'd end up losing game by forfeit if for example 2 or 3 of your injured players would be set up in playing lineup without you noticing).

That's OK. Everything will be fine when the time changes in the country where the game server is located.

Well, today, I tried again my Alejuja Tactic (O'(Mine) as usual when I think I've got nothing to hope.
Opponent was Hardboll (sorry for the ° !), so I didn't expect that much. I put a very risky Zone 2-3...

1st quarter : 29/28
HT : 49-49
3/4 : 76-75

Tactic seemed to work especially in order to make my Outside players first choices.
But, even if the global notes seem a little better for my team, Hardboll won, especially because of his excellent FT % (26/26). Most of his FT came from last quarter...
Final Score : 95-100

So, I'm now at 2/1 for this tactic :/
This league is perfect for trying some tactics we don't often use in Normal league, that's great (also !).
