In a meeting of the top two teams in the Big 8 Divison, the Harlan Hillbillies crushed the Boston Disaster, 107-60, in what is believed to be the worst loss in Boston Disaster history.

Harlan had six players score in double digits in the game, including one player with a double-double, while Boston had just one player reach double figures.

The win gives Harlan sole possession of first place in the division with two games to go, putting the Hillbillies in control of their own destiny when it comes to the regular-season championship.

The victory also gives Harlan payback for two previous defeats to the Disaster. Last season Harlan beat Boston in the final meeting of the regular season to tie the Disaster for #4 in the division, but failed to make the playoffs because of the tie-breaker. Then earlier this season, Boston took advantage of it's home court to beat Harlan, 99-86, to knock Harlan from the ranks of the undefeated.

Harlan and Boston are also favored to advance through the playoffs and meet again for the Div. V.91 Big 8 Championship. The winner of that game would go on to play in the overall league championship.
